What's In the V Carbon Peel?

Licorice extract is a skin brightener that inhibits the production of an enzyme that produces melanin in the skin. Licorice extract also has anti-inflammatory properties.
Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that helps reduce the appearance of acne, hyperpigmentation, and other signs of aging. The acid accelerates cell turnover and functions as a powerful exfoliator to remove dead skin cells. Mandelic acid also promotes collagen production.
Activated charcoal is a popular skin care ingredient that can be used to alleviate dryness, reduce oiliness, treat blemishes, and heal acne.
Lactic acid is known for its gentle hydrating effect on sun damaged skin.
The Treatment Process
WHAT TO EXPECT
The first step is to cleanse and prepare the skin. The aesthetician will use the V Carbon Spray to create a clear and polished canvas.
Next, the aesthetician will apply a thin layer of Carbon Film that will stay on for eight to 20 minutes, depending on the client’s skin condition, to allow the product to penetrate the skin.
The Carbon and other activating agents will work their magic to treat clogged pores, sun spots, fine lines, and wrinkles, and to create a lifting effect. The peel will smooth, detox, and purify the skin.
Once the peel is removed, the client will have a toned, lifted, and bright complexion.
To finish treatment, the aesthetician will use the Carbon Spray to help lock in hydration.
The results are comparable to that of laser treatment without any discomfort or downtime.
