The Steps

WHAT TO EXPECT

PREP

The aesthetician will begin by washing their hands and go on to wash the client’s face with a gentle foaming face wash. Then, the aesthetician will apply facial oil to ensure a smooth massage and to allow the skin to absorb antioxidants and key vitamins.

FACIAL MUSCLES

The forehead will be massaged with an up and down motion, moving towards the hairline and outwards toward the temples. The aesthetician will use a rubbing motion and carefully apply pressure to target the facial muscles.

EYE AREA

Moving down to the eyes, the aesthetician will massage from the temples and work under the eyes toward the bridge of the nose. Next, the aesthetician will cycle the fingers over the eyebrows and back down underneath the eye. This will be repeated a few times for maximum effect.

CHEEK AREA

The aesthetician will go on to massage the cheeks, gently massaging the area close to the nose and moving outward towards the ears. After this is repeated, the aesthetician will target the area above and below the lip, using an outward motion.

CHIN & JAWLINE

The next step is to massage the chin and jawline, by starting with the center of the chin and working outward. The aesthetician will carefully use the knuckles to effectively release tension.

FINAL STEPS

Lastly, the client’s neck and outline of the face will be massaged. The results are a relaxed, refreshed, and relieved experience.
